Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine
Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (RUSVM), an Adtalem Global Education institution, prepares students to become veterinary leaders by drawing connections among animals, people and the planet, as a member of the One Health Initiative. RUSVM offers research programs focused on emerging infectious and zoonotic diseases, conservation medicine and ecosystem health. RUSVM has graduated more than 6,000 students and offers postgraduate master’s, PhD, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) programs accredited by the St. Christopher & Nevis Accreditation Board and the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education. RUSVM is located on St. Kitts and includes the Ross University Veterinary Clinic, accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association.

Ross University Veterinary Clinic (RUVC) serves as the primary care/first opinion small animal clinic at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Offering a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including a 24-hour emergency service, RUVC mirrors the capabilities of a bustling high-street practice in North America or Europe. Committed to excellence through teamwork, continuous education, and exceptional communication and customer service, RUVC upholds the highest standards of animal care for the people and pets of St. Kitts and Nevis. Operating in a positive, compassionate, and professional environment, RUVC holds accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2009, with the most recent accreditation completed in 2022.
We provide affordable services to students, colleagues, and the broader community of St. Kitts and Nevis. Additionally, RUVC offers RUSVM students valuable exposure to the dynamics of a bustling clinical setting, with students completing various rotations throughout their pre-clinical education.
Our Clinic Director will be responsible for:
Clinical Service (40%)
RUVC Administration (15%)
Teaching (30%)
Research (10%)
Maintain a research-active status, aiming for at least one publication per year and active involvement or pursuit of intra or extramural funding.
Professional Development (5%)
