THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FORThe Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record of at least 6 months
- Ability to pass van driving in-service
- Ability to maintain and conduct functional life skill, behavioral, and therapeutic programs
- Ability to collect data and maintain records as established within the day program
YOUR DAY-TO-DAYAs an On Call Day Habilitation Aide, your role is dynamic and impactful. Your primary responsibilities involve delivering attentive care, skillful teaching, and essential support while evaluating programmatic services. You're the key figure in transporting, accompanying, and supporting individuals to various destinations, including home, medical, dental, and psychiatric appointments, as well as leisure activities.
Your expertise in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) is crucial, as you play a vital role in crisis assessment, prevention, and necessary intervention. Additionally, your commitment extends to attending pool and gym sessions with individuals, contributing to their overall well-being, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment!
