Lanoha Real Estate is Hiring a Commercial Maintenance Technician Near Omaha, NE

Lanoha Real Estate Company has a permanent, full-time position available for a Commercial Maintenance Technician. This position will be responsible for a mixed-use portfolio of commercial properties across the Omaha metro area. Successful candidates are resourceful, flexible, problem solvers with a growth mindset. Daily responsibilities focus on property operations including completing preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues that may arise, completion of work orders assigned, workload management and collaboration with Property Managers on repair/replacement projects.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance, including but not limited to minor electrical, minor plumbing, general carpentry and grounds.
  • Communicate with the Property Management team related to work orders and other ongoing projects.
  • Use trouble-shooting skills to determine cause of issue and necessary repair(s).
  • Interface with Property Ownership, Tenants and Contractors on a daily basis.
  • Exhibit professionalism and good customer service in client and public settings.
  • Participate in on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in commercial maintenance; electrical, plumbing, carpentry etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to use smart phones and/or tablets proficiently
  • Comfortable with driving to multiple locations throughout the day
  • Flexible availability that can include overtime, evenings, weekends, on-call rotation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up/down stairs on a regular basis; climb up and down ladders
  • Bend and stretch, lift and move heavy objects (50-60 lbs) many times across a shift
  • Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures (summer/winter)
