Job Title: Online Adjunct Instructor for Digital FilmmakingDepartment: School of Social SciencesReports To: Dean for the School of Social SciencesJob Type: This is a part time, exempt position.General Description:William Woods University is accepting applications for a part-time adjunct position to teach online courses for students enrolled in Digital Filmmaking Courses.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Teach online undergraduate digital filmmaking courses. Courses could include Fundamentals of Filmmaking, Screenwriting I, Cinematography I, Editing I, Cinematic Lighting, Sound Design etc.Position Requirements:

• Degree requirements: a master’s is required, however a terminal degree in the field, an MFA or PhD is preferred.
• Ability to perform teaching, administrative, and clerical duties independently to fulfill goals and objectives of the program within the overall mission of the department, the division, and the University.
• Teaching experience at a higher educational institution is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, strong work ethic, and a commitment to working well with others.
