We're seeking a talented Multimedia Content Editor to join our team and help us edit compelling content that informs, inspires, and engages our audience. 

Primary duties center on sound editing using Pro Tools software, but you’ll have the opportunity to utilize your skills in video editing as well.

Responsibilities

• Record, edit and mix segments for Land Line Now and Land Line Magazine productions as well as other projects as assigned.
• Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.
• Work with in-department news people, personnel from other departments and outside sources on sound recording and video production.
• Ensure that all work is timed to specifications and meets technical standards.
• Perform final review of segments, as needed, check for audio and video quality, accuracy of edits, adherence to scripts, or any other possible issues prior to airing.
• Set up and test sound and video equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings.

Required

• On-site Position
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year experience on Pro-Tools recording software or similar, various types of microphones and Mac equipment
• Experience and strong understanding of editing software
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Final Cut or similar programs
• You must provide a demo reel of your work

Helpful

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in multimedia or related field
• 2 plus years in a production-related audio and/or video facility
• Knowledge of the trucking industry
• Experience with iZotope plugins for Pro Tools
