Your role:
We are currently hiring a Quantum Computing Scientist (all genders) to strengthen our Data Office, which drives the digital transformation through data and analytics globally and across business divisions.
In this role you will independently execute tasks in our Quantum Computing projects, including the assessment and preparation of business relevant use cases in quantum chemistry, machine learning or optimization, comparison of classical state-of-the-art compute approaches and Quantum Computing technologies, development and benchmarking of Quantum Computing algorithms and the coordination of our academic and industrial collaborations. Responsibilities include:

Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or related discipline
• 3 years of experience in Quantum Computing theories and algorithms and their application to chemistry, machine learning or optimization
• Published research in Quantum Computing (e.g., quantum algorithms, computational modelling, machine learning, error correction, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge in quantum computing with application to quantum chemistry, quantum machine learning or optimization
• Understanding of quantum computing theory and algorithms (potential and limitations)
• Experience with related software libraries and programming languages
• Programming skills in modern languages such as Python, Java, C, or C
