Performance Therapy Institute is Hiring a Physical Therapy Office Manager Near Franklin, TN

Performance Therapy Institute is seeking an Office Manager for a privately owned, outpatient physical therapy practice in Franklin, TN. This position will play a critical role for the growth and smooth operation of our clinic. We’re looking for a compassionate, caring, and enthusiastic candidate to join our growing team. Applicants should be detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy being part of a dynamic, growing team. Multitasking and time management skills are essential for this position.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation according to experience level and performance.

Duties include:

  • Interacting with patients, greeting them as they arrive and checking them out as they leave.
  • Insurance benefit verification
  • Insurance authorization
  • Collecting patient payments
  • Filing paperwork.
  • Communicating with and scheduling potential patients. We believe the front desk is the face of the clinic to patients and essential for the success of the clinic.
  • Ability to assist with marketing efforts, social media, and community outreach a major plus!
  • The position requires approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Working hours approximately 8-5PM.

Principal job duties:

  • To greet patients promptly when they enter the clinic.
  • To schedule patients over the phone or email.
  • To handle the daily scheduling, filling cancellation spots, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • To represent the clinic with patients, whether in person or on the phone.
  • Handle and organize patient files and information.
  • To stock and change linens in patient rooms as well as light cleaning around the clinic.
  • Any other duties which may be required.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service setting, experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents.
  • A high-school diploma is required, an AA or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with patients and coworkers at all times.
  • Able to take patient payment, handle email communications, navigate Electronic Medical Records software, and handle a multi-line phone system.
  • Ability to learn and communicate about the various diagnoses that are seen at the clinic.
  • Ability to understand and communicate insurance benefits
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Handle paperwork and filing in an organized manner.
  • Communicate clearly in person and on the phone.
  • Abilities with social media (Instagram and Facebook) and design skills in Canva is a major plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
