The core categories within this area are: the Seltzer category (Like Lone River) FMB (flavored malt beverages – like Smirnoff Ice) RTD – Ready to drink – spirit brand and “mixer” in a can or bottle (Smirnoff Vodka Soda and Loyal) RTS – Ready to Serve – a spirit cocktail that is ready to pour into a glass—like our Cocktail Collection flag shipped by brands like Ketel One and Bulleit. In a world where people are looking for convenient and portable solutions – these categories are very much on trend. Pre-mix formats are a key driver across all spirits categories. On top of an existing successful Smirnoff FMB/Seltzer business, Diageo is not just here to play, but to WIN in Pre-Mix with bigger, better launches and more innovation. We are looking for a high-energy, agile individual who can make an immediate impact while they learn and grown in the Associate Brand Manager role. As part of the brand team, this person will be responsible for influencing multiple internal and external partners as we look to shape the future of the Ready to Serve category. Purpose of Role In this role, you will be part of the US Pre-Mix New-To-World (NTW) brand marketing team, reporting to the Senior Brand Manager for NTW. The NTW team is the incubator for our small brands. Today, the team manages Loyal 9—a delicious RTD brand concentrated in the northeast. You will also play a key role in launching 3 new brands per year, working alongside the NTW team to incubate and scale these brands. Success in this dynamic position will require a general management approach to business building, coupled with strong leadership in foundational brand building. Pre-mix is a top priority within Diageo, and this role will be pivotal in driving significant growth in whitespace areas of the fast-growing pre-mix category. Summary of Responsibilities: Strategic Brand Building: Develop and execute bespoke business models for portfolio brands Drive transformational growth by implementing best-in-class brand building strategies Business Development: Lead entrepreneurial initiatives to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities Manage end-to-end business models, from concept creation to execution Brand Management: Collaborate on the development of brand equities and visual identities Drive marketing development strategies to enhance brand impact Help establish commercial route-to-market frameworks to drive brand visibility and accessibility Deliver business insights and performance analytics and ad hoc reporting Manage brand budgets including regular reporting and ongoing investment optimization / M&E Drive internal PR, celebrating brand successes and delivering key brand info across Diageo Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing plans Build day-to-day relationships with agencies and internal cross-functional partners driving for greatness in creative, communications and commercial planning Required Experience: MBA or equivalent experience preferred, undergraduate degree required 3-5 years marketing experience with proven track record of crafting / implementing successful strategies Consumer goods experience preferred, three-tiered industries or alcohol beverage experience a plus Regional brand, challenger brand, or new-to-world brand experience a plus Highly-skilled relationship builder and influencer Ability to demonstrate consumer insight and achieve creative excellence and effective marketing programs Strong commercial savvy with ability to enroll and empower a large, sophisticated sales organization Ability to maintain positive outlook amidst challenges and effectively problem-solve and make decisions Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize and drive to action Worker Type :Regular Primary Location:3WTC Additional Locations : Job Posting Start Date : 2024-05-13 Salary Range: Minimum Salary: $93150 Maximum Salary: $155250 At Diageo certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual incentive payment and stock awards.
