Interim Director, Emergency Department Needed in California

The Position

• An Interim Director is needed to oversee the Emergency Department at a facility with a 30-bed ED within a Level II Trauma Center.
• This role will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and will oversee 170 total FTE.
• The Interim Director's responsibilities include integrating the inpatient psychiatry unit, adding phlebotomy services, and enhancing the relationship with the CCU. The Interim Director will also be involved in evaluating the department's structure and providing input on budgeting and fiscal planning.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on staff engagement, quality outcomes, data-driven decision-making, and throughput improvement.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current CA RN License.
• Previous healthcare experience required.

Pay Details

• Pay Range: $170,000 - $175,000 annually.
• Final pay rate is dependent upon experience, education, training, and location.
