Underground Foreman

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

* Experience with water, sewer, drainage, mud and concrete work.

* Set up pipe laser.

* Two to five years of construction experience is preferred.

* Applicants must have a valid Florida Driver License and Social Security Card.

* Applicants must also provide three current references, and previous work history information.

* Oversee/maintain job site safety per OSHA standards - OSHA certificate a plus.

* Able to work adjusted shifts. (AM or PM)

* Able to work overtime.

* Must be able to read plans & Shop Drawings.

* Calculate & shoot all elevations as required. TBM provided.

* Have good communication skills & Leadership skills.

* Must be able to do detailed material take-offs.

* Pre-planning is a must.

* Inspect construction work as necessary and ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.

* Be self-motivated and work productively. Motivate crews properly.

* Must be reliable and dependable.

* Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.

* Complete, compile, oversee and submit various paperwork related to safety, equipment, etc.

* Must be able to work in a safety-conscious manner.

* Develop a complete understanding of the contract plans and specifications, lay-out, installation and/or construction. Review with Superintendent at the start of and throughout the project.

* Supervise a minimum of 6 employees.

* All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check, motor vehicle report and a pre-employment drug screening.

* Be Permitted to work in the United States. (per Federal Law)
