OverviewBig Fish Games is looking for a data-driven Product Manager to join one of our top titles in supporting the product development through game design, UX/UI and live operations. Successful candidates in this position are effective communicators who can work collaboratively with a variety of teams and personalities. This person will work closely with the Product Owner, focusing on strategies to improve
the long-term growth and sustainability of the game, while maximizing game engagement through innovative game design and live-ops. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and energized to learn and grow as a Product Manager at Big Fish Games.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Product Owner in the overall management of a top free-to-play mobile puzzle game.
  • Help build and manage the game’s roadmap and Live Ops calendar.
  • Monitor game health metrics, using a mix of data and player feedback, to measure success and inform our priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our game content, features, economy, and production pipeline.
  • Create and organize high-quality documentation to support ongoing Live Ops
  • Analyze data and support ongoing business reporting process.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to identify product opportunities and understand industry trends.
  • Participate in the feature design and tuning process to ensure the proper balance between an engaging player experience and achievement of our performance goals.
What We're Looking For
  • BA/BS in a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years’ experience as a product manager, producer, or analyst (games experience preferred)
  • Strong math skills and analytical mindset
  • Proficient in Excel (SQL knowledge a plus)
  • Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Must be able to clearly communicate results and conclusions to team members across various disciplines and levels of management.
  • Experience running live-ops and engagement events in games.
  • An advocate for strategy based on research, data, and industry trends, while being comfortable taking calculated risk
  • Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Understands the competitive landscape in terms of product quality and feature parity.
  • Positive and collaborative, open to change, with ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Excellent at problem solving ability.
  • Passionate about games and their players
