About Paché Montessori

Paché Montessori School is located in the heart of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. We offer an authentic Montessori experience, starting with infants as young as 3 months old up to 6-year-olds in Kindergarten, with a Spanish immersion option. We have a 25,000 square foot facility, with a rooftop playground, indoor climbing wall, and outdoor terrace.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing and responsive care to infants, recognizing and responding promptly to their needs
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment, upholding Paché's high standards
• Assist with the preparation of materials and activities, fostering infants' curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving
• Maintain daily records of infant routines, including feeding, diapering, and sleep schedules
• Build strong relationships with families, ensuring clear and frequent communication
• Role model peaceful conflict resolution, respect, grace & courtesy at all times

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in an infant classroom or childcare setting
• A willingness to learn about the Montessori philosophy
• A warm, compassionate, and patient approach to caregiving
• A growth mindset and problem-solving approach

Nice to haves, but not required:

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Montessori Experience or Training

Additional bonuses are available to teachers who have educational degrees in Early Childhood Education or have NY teaching certificates.
