Lowcountry Urology Clinics has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Assistant.

***Excellent opportunity for a Pre-PA student looking to gain PCE (patient care experience) and hours!!!***

This job is very hands on and a great learning opportunity. You also get the chance to network with drug representatives.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for:

  • Assisting with procedures such as vasectomies, cystoscopies, and prostate biopsies
  • taking the patient vitals
  • must be able to draw blood
  • updating medications
  • scheduling some surgical procedures and preoperative appointments,
  • working with patients and medical staff to obtain all health information,
  • providing any backup for for other medical assistants or front office staff, must be a team player, must be able to move fast and multiask
  • must be able to move fast and multitask.
  • We are seeking someone with excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills, who is willing to jump in when needed and wear many hats to support the office.

The MA plays a vital role in insuring the success of the surgeons and the well-being of our patients.

You will be trusted with vital patient information, and are responsible for accurately entering all demographic and insurance details, answering patient phone calls, scanning records, handling important office duties for staff and physicians. Ensuring patients experience at Lowcountry Urology Clinics is a great one.

2 years of Previous Medical experience is required.
