About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven and coachable Acquisitions Associate who’s passionate about real estate and retail growth. This is an exciting opportunity to source value-add retail properties and build relationships with franchisees, multi-unit operators, and brand founders who are scaling exciting concepts.
As part of ZIG, you’ll be on the front lines of our expansion strategy—sourcing deals, developing your investment acumen, and learning directly from experienced partners. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position provides immediate ownership opportunities and the chance to quickly learn how to think like an investor, not just a producer.
This is not a back-office analyst position. It’s a people-focused, outbound, rain-making role where you’ll spend your time on the phone, in meetings, on site visits, and at conferences—turning connections into contracts while building your own ownership track record.
What You’ll Do
· Prospect Relentlessly: Make 400 outbound calls per week to operators and industry contacts. Your hustle fills the pipeline.
· Build Relationships: Win trust with operators, brokers, and tenants by meeting face-to-face, grabbing coffee, hosting meals, and showing up at industry events.
· Source Deals: Identify properties and operator partnerships that align with ZIG’s investment strategy.
· Qualify Opportunities: Use basic underwriting tools (we’ll train you) to quickly assess if a deal fits—then hand it off to our partners for deeper analysis.
· Stay in the Mix: Represent ZIG at industry conferences and local meetups; you’ll be our ambassador on the ground.

Compensation
Base salary plus uncapped performance-based commissions and immediate ownership opportunities. The harder you hustle, the more you earn and own.
