Junior RF Engineer

Job Description
As a Junior RF Engineer, you will work with our experienced team to develop and expand automated test capabilities for radio base stations supporting multiple radio access technologies, including 5G, 4G/LTE, and GSM.
Airspan's hardware portfolio is built for scalability and reliability, with over 50,000 5G radios and 700,000 4G radios deployed in live networks worldwide. Our solutions meet the demands of public and private networks with unmatched efficiency and performance.
We continue to innovate and deliver cutting-edge wireless solutions, with proven success in Open RAN interoperability and conformance testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test tools and frameworks in Python for validating O-RAN radio products.
- Provide support for unit level radio functional and performance integration.
- Provide support for system level radio unit verification.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Master's degree (preferred) in EE/CS or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Ability to develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools in Python.
- Skills in XML, Visual Studio, and C# are a plus.
- Ability to build and work with opensource DU projects.
- Experience with test execution, results collection, and report generation.
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating system configuration.
- Knowledge of networks, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, VLANs, fiber, SFPs, Netconf.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
