We are seeking an experienced Senior Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ab Initio ETL, data warehousing concepts, and hands-on experience working in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System, EME).
- Build scalable and high-performance data integration solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing ETL jobs for performance and efficiency.
- Work with large datasets in data warehouse environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and data discrepancies.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years of experience in ETL development with strong hands-on expertise in Ab Initio.
- Proficiency in Ab Initio components such as GDE, Co>Operating System, Conduct>IT, and EME.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
