About the Engagement:
Zonberation Group is partnering with TikTok to support their North America operations by providing critical on-site technical and business support. We are seeking a skilled professional to join the team, ensuring smooth AV conference room operations and delivering IT support to maintain seamless workplace functionality. This role will serve as an extension of the client’s internal operations team, handling AV equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance for meeting spaces while also assisting with basic IT support tasks. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy problem solver who can contribute to both technical operations and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. AV Systems Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for advanced troubleshooting of conference room AV equipment (e.g., video conferencing systems, displays, microphones, control panels).
- Proactively monitor, maintain, and optimize AV systems to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for repairs, upgrades, and integrations.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve complex AV issues (e.g., connectivity, audio/video sync, software/hardware failures).
- Provide Tier 2 support for escalated conference room incidents.
- Document solutions and create knowledge base articles for recurring issues.
3. IT Operations Support
- Assist with general IT tasks: user support (hardware/software), onboarding/offboarding, and asset management.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain workplace technology standards.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Recommend and implement AV system enhancements to improve reliability and user experience.
- Train staff on AV equipment and best practices.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 2-5 years in corporate AV support, with expertise in troubleshooting systems (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Poly, Cisco).
- Proven track record of managing AV systems in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with IT support tasks (ticketing systems, endpoint management, etc.).
Skills:
- Knowledge of AV protocols (HDMI, Dante, SIP), network fundamentals, and room control systems.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Certifications (e.g., CTS, Crestron, Extron) are a plus.
