Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing manufacturing schedules to the set objectives. Supports daily activities in process developments, validation activities, and change management. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, & have the ability to meet company expectations within the timelines specifically related to your assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities
- Insures direct communication between the cross-functional team members and their associated counterparts within the customer organization.
- Support the targeted transfer of Tooling, Documents, and Test Equipment
- Focus on the tactical execution of New Product Implementation initiatives.
- Conduct the implementation of fixtures and various tooling activities ensuring completion of all measurement system analysis qualification requirements per customer standards.
- Reviews program proposal or plan to determine time frame, requirements, procedures for accomplishing program execution.
- Facilitate and coordinate design change initiatives.
- Develop standard operating procedures where required.
- Complete ergonomic studies where applicable.
- Process improvements support and CAPA resolutions.
- Conduct time and motion studies for processing line balancing.
- Help manage the coordination of product life cycle activities.
- Ability to develop CAD, Solid Works, Pro-E files where applicable.
- Develop and communicate project reports to senior level staff members.
- Coordinate, prepare, and help execute DOE's per the Matrix output.
Qualifications/Requirements
- B.S in Engineering, Technical Practice, or Equivalent
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in engineering, quality, or Production and Manufacturing Operations.
- Experience with AIAG, and AS9100 Standards
- Ability to support the development and execution of continues improvement initiatives.
- Has practical knowledge in various manufacturing processes such as CNC Machining, Welding Processes, and Quality Control.
- Is a self-starter and can execute assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Team Center, SharePoint, and/or SAP
- Practitioner of AI agent usage for daily tasks and report structures.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Capability to work in teams
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
- CAD, Solid Works, or Pro-E proficiency.
