Fixture engineer is responsible for installation, operation, evaluation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting all manufacturing equipment/fixtures/devices.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, repairs, on a variety of equipment and fixtures on the production floor.
- Optimize the production equipment and fixtures to reduce failure rate.
- Documenting and deploying maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Install and coordinate with facility team to set up production testing stations.
- Handle, maintain, troubleshooting and provide training to operator of production liquid cooling systems.
- Install liquid cooling related equipment with vendor, set up parameter of the equipment.
- Develop equipment SOP, train production personnel to operate equipment.
- Design and deploy tools to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Contacting and collaborating with fixture/equipment vendors for modifications, service, and improvements, while communicating in a clear and professional manner; including from Taiwan.
- Ensuring timely delivery of fixtures and resolving any discrepancies.
- Provide technical support to other teams as needed
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Strong time management and scheduling skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Comfort talking to people from all walks of life
- Ability to carry out tasks with no supervision but also contribute to engineering discussions
- Ability to prioritize and divide one’s time among many tasks with all types of scopes and deadlines

- Fusion 360 and 3D printing
- Experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
- Degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or related field.
