What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional: Study Hall position at Zionsville Community Schools?
Zionsville Community Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional for Study Hall at the High School. This is a full time position and will start in August at the begining of the school year.
This position will provide supervision to the study hall classroom.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise the study hall classroom; take attendance, mange classroom and interact with students in a positive manner.
- Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers.
- Monitors students during assigned to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Being proactive and do what is necessary to maintain a relationship of trust with student(s) you serve.
General Functions:
- Assist as needed for district and state-wide testing per student accommodations.
- Alert administration to any special problems about an individual student.
- Other duties as assigned by Classroom Teacher or Building Administration.
