The Resident Monitor position will be responsible for monitoring the activities of our male veteran residents and ensuring their compliance with program rules and conditions. This position ensures the safe custody and accountability of all residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Completing medication audits
- Conducting locker searches and random urinalysis drops
- Enforcing program rules and addressing non-compliance with professionalism
- De-escalating conflicts and managing interpersonal issues between residents
- Conducting hourly Health & Safety Rounds and Perimeter Checks
- Completing daily shift summaries—strong written communication is essential
- Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to document and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a related field
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be assertive while remaining respectful and composed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Previous experience in a residential or transitional housing environment is preferred
This is a progressive hourly scale position starting at $17.75/hour. Candidates must demonstrate positive leadership skills and maintain composure during crisis situations.
Current Openings:
- 1st Shift Floater
- Weekends: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Weekdays as needed (up to three weekdays per week)
