Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Zing Recruiting has partnered with one of our top flavor houses in filling a 1st shift shipping and receiving clerk (forklift) in North Aurora, IL. Company seeks a candidate who has previous experience in warehouse or production environment (food or ingredient industry)

Shift: Start time: 8am (7:30am for first week of training); OT and weekends as needed

Pay: $22-$25/HR

Job Requirements Include:

• Unloading deliveries, verifying items against packing slips and invoices, and checking for damage
• Verifying and documenting incoming shipments, inspecting for damage, and comparing contents to purchase orders or invoices
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory, tracking shipments, and updating inventory levels.
• Preparing outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and arranging for transportation
• Preparing shipping documents, packing slips, and other paperwork.
• Communicating with carriers, vendors, and other departments regarding shipments.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the food industry and familiarity with industry-related quality systems and procedures is highly preferred
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• High School diploma or GED highly preferred
• Must have excellent attention to detail and adhere to policies and procedures
• Must have experience in forklift (sit-down or stand-up)
