Job Title: Flavor Lab Technician
Location: Teterboro, NJ (Onsite)
Pay: $25/hour
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on Flavor Lab Technician to support scientists and flavorists in a fast-paced lab environment. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with flavor development, testing, and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with compounding flavors and preparing samples
- Support testing of flavors in various applications
- Taste raw materials and finished flavors alongside the team
- Maintain and replenish raw material inventory
- Verify product specifications (viscosity, density, flashpoint)
- Coordinate and ship samples to customers
- Collaborate with sensory and applications teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment
Qualifications
- Prior lab or food/flavor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a hands-on lab setting
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
