Quality Engineer Job Summary

• Long Term Contract (w/possibility to go direct)
• Day Shift
• Starting pay up to $50.00/hourly

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (GMP, ISO, FDA) and customer specifications throughout the engineering project into production transition.
• Interfacing with customers and the Quality Manager to understand product requirements.
• Developing and executing procedures for product validations, coordinating inspection and calibration plans
• Establishing strong quality systems, evaluating product quality, performing audits, and staying updated on inspection/testing techniques.
• Developing groundbreaking procedures for quality and productivity.
• Bringing innovation to life with your problem-solving skills
• Keeping things organized, documented, and smooth.
  
  

Quality Engineer Qualifications

• A background in Quality Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of inspection experience, proficiency in SPC and quality tools, computer skills, and experience with corrective and preventative actions.
• Modern injection molding techniques
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 Medical Devices
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 based Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 5 years of processing experience.
• Familiarity with scientific analysis methods.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in plastic injection molding or precision component manufacturing.
• Familiarity with medical device or consumer packaging quality standards.
• Proficiency with SPC, MSA, GD&T, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with ISO or FDA regulated environments.
