Payment Processor

Pay: $19 to $22 per hour, based on experience

Location: Largo, FL

Schedule: Full-time, On-site

Position Summary

Zing is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processor to join a fast-paced production environment in Largo, FL. This role is responsible for accurately processing incoming payments and remittances while maintaining strict quality, compliance, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, open, organize, and scan incoming mail using high-speed OPEX scanners
• Process remittances according to client specifications with a high level of accuracy
• Package completed payments for delivery to clients and financial institutions
• Maintain established production and quality standards
• Follow all compliance guidelines, including HIPAA where applicable
• Cross-train in related departments and assist with additional operational needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Site Manager
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payment processing, lockbox processing, medical payment posting, medical billing, working in a financial institution, or in a HIPAA-compliant environment
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills, including 10-key data entry
• Basic math skills and strong hand-eye coordination
• High school diploma required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
