The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role coordinates maintenance activities, manages personnel, and drives continuous improvement in equipment performance and uptime.

What You’ll Do
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role coordinates maintenance activities, manages personnel, and drives continuous improvement in equipment performance and uptime.
You’ll take initiative, communicate respectfully, perform well under pressure, and adapt to change while consistently meeting commitments and supporting a safe, ethical work environment. This person reports to Maintenance Engineering Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise, train, and lead maintenance technicians and support staff
- Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance work (preventive, predictive, and corrective)
- Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Monitor and improve equipment reliability and overall plant performance
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory
- Coordinate with production and other departments to align maintenance schedules
- Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs
- Assist in capital projects, equipment installations, and upgrades
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, TPM, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Be able to react with urgency to achieve objectives and deadlines despite obstacles and time pressures.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
- Knowledge and experience with: Manufacturing software/ERP, MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to apply basic to intermediate mathematical concepts. Working knowledge of measurements, tolerances, and conversions (standard and metric systems).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Technical degree or certification preferred.
- 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- OSHA 10/30 and Maintenance-related certifications (electrical, mechanical, PLC) a plus.
