EHS Manager (Temp/Contract)

Location: Goose Creek, SC

Type: Contract, minimum 3-months

We are seeking an EHS Manager to develop, implement, and maintain Environment, Health & Safety programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate standards. This role will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement toward EHS excellence while fostering a strong safety culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day EHS program management (Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, Respiratory Protection, Incident Investigation, Contractor Safety, PPE, etc.).
• Build strong relationships across the facility to encourage employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Oversee hazardous waste management, including classification, storage, shipping, inspections, and RCRA training.
• Coordinate environmental regulatory permits and programs for air, water, and waste; track and report sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct EHS audits and inspections, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, vendors, and community representatives on EHS matters.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of industrial EHS experience.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste regulations, environmental permitting, and workplace safety programs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
