We are seeking a senior-career Electrical Engineer to lead the development of advanced health devices for a client in Lehi, Utah. You will drive hardware design from concept through production while ensuring compliance with stringent medical and regulatory standards. In addition to technical leadership, you will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines to deliver innovative, high-performance products at scale.Key QualificationsProficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools such as Altium, including HDI high-density and flex designsDeep knowledge of low-noise analog and mixed-signal circuit design, PCB layer stack definition, signal acquisition, and best practices for minimizing noise and motion artifactsStrong understanding of power delivery network (PDN) design, signal/power integrity (SIPI), and low-power architecture optimization, and lithium battery management systemsExperience integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC, RFID, and other wireless technologies; Demonstrated experience with RF layout and validation, antenna tuning and characterization, range testing, and RF link peformance testingFamiliarity with communication protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, MIPI, USBHands-on experience with prototype development, SMT rework, and bench testingExpertise in test and measurement using oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, power analyzers, signal generators, physiological simulators, ESD generators, and environmental chambersStrong experience with regulatory compliance testing: FCC, CE, EMI/ESD, IEC 60601, and medical device standardsResponsibilitiesOwn full electrical hardware design from Concept through NPI into Mass ProductionDefine system architecture, power tree and communication interfacesOwn component selection, schematic capture, and PCB/flex circuit design (Altium preferred)Integrate 2.4GHz wireless module connectivity including RF layout considerationsCollaborate with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to interpret PRD and ensure seamless integration; Integrate comprehensive DFM, DFT, and xFMEACompany DescriptionZimZee Recruiting is a full-service recruiting and professional placement firm for both clients and candidates.
