What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Help Wanted position at ZIEL RESOURCES LLC?
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is a key member of the Distribution team and will collaborate in the maintenance of stock levels, auditing, and record-keeping of the Distribution Department. You will also collaborate with various sides of the department such as receiving and shipping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the assignment of daily cycle count of raw materials and semi-finished product as required
- Manage the receiving of all incoming material
- Ensure that all KANBAN tags are fulfilled daily in a timely manner
- Ensure that all scheduled production work orders are picked daily
- Manage the accuracy of all production work orders prior to delivering to the production floor
- Manage the movement of material to the proper locations on the production floor
- Provide opportunities for employee development and schedule cross training
- Manage the shipment schedule and assist in the operation activities of the shipping department
- Manage on-time delivery expectations that all schedule shipments daily
- Ensure accuracy and quality of outbound shipments
- Engage and actively participate in continuous improvement activities for the Inventory control area
- Maintain cleanliness of all material storage areas
- Manage a 99% cycle counting accuracy
- Demonstrate a commitment to meet internal and external customers’ needs to provide superior customer satisfaction
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience with an ERP/WMS
- Experience in the storage and rotation (FIFO) of electronic materials
- Knowledge of transportation acumen and prior experience with packaging delivery companies, e.g. UPS/FEDEX/DHL.
- International shipping experience
- Prior packaging experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Computer proficiency required
- Must have proficient computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ERP/MRP knowledge a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and decision making skills
- Strong desire to grow and learn new skill sets
- Sets a high quality of standards
- Effective communication style that allows for cross-functional teamwork
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
