About the Team
Drive operational excellence as the Plant Manager II, leading all aspects of plant performance in cost, quality, delivery, safety, and profitability. This role oversees key functional areas—production, materials management, maintenance, engineering, quality, and EHS—to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement. You will inspire and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and problem-solving. What you can look forward to as a Plant Manager:
- Manage the profitability of plant operations and ensure achievement of financial targets (P&L responsibility).
- Direct plant activities to optimize cost, service, quality and delivery performance.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee assembly and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with ZF Quality Management System (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Manage ITAR and other regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Prepare and manage budgets, capital expenditure plans and operational forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements, and guarantee product quality and customer satisfaction through robust quality systems.
- Lead problem-solving efforts for production and quality issues using structured methodologies (8D, PDCA).
Your Profile as a Plant Manager:
- BS in Engineering, Manufacturing or related technical field.
- 8 to 10 years increasing management responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven plant management experience
- Proven leadership in plant operations, including finance, engineering, quality and supply chain.
- Experience in Project Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Coaching and Mentoring Skills.
- Results, process and problem-solving oriented.
