Job: SAP Business Objects Developer Location: Maryland Heights, MO, 63043 Duration: 4 Months contract
seeking an experienced SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) Developer with a strong focus on Web Intelligence (WebI) reporting. This role supports a small to mid-size SAP environment and requires hands-on experience working directly with SAP data, not relying on upstream data teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning reports end-to-end and partnering closely with business users.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) reports
Validate WebI reports against SAP tables and/or SAP transaction codes (TCODEs)
Troubleshoot, fix, and clean up existing reports to improve accuracy and usability
Work directly in SAP S/4HANA to identify and pull data from raw tables
Develop and maintain BusinessObjects Universes
Support and participate in BusinessObjects upgrades, including upcoming upgrades planned before year-end
Partner closely with business users to understand reporting needs and resolve issues
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting functionality remains stable and accurate Day-to-Day Activities: Fixing and enhancing existing WebI reports
Cleaning up legacy or underperforming reports
Responding to user questions and reporting issues
Supporting BusinessObjects platform upgrades
Validating data accuracy and ensuring reports align with SAP source data
3-5 years of experience with SAP Business Objects, with flexibility for strong candidates slightly above or below this range
