Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize procedure rooms and endoscopic equipment before and after procedures.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses during endoscopy procedures.
- Verify proper equipment function and perform routine safety checks.
- Maintain and troubleshoot endoscopic equipment.
- Collect, label, and transport specimens while maintaining a sterile field.
- Assist with patient intake, transport, documentation, and procedure room preparation.
- Blood pressure cuffs
- Cardiac monitoring electrodes
- Pulse oximeter sensors
- Surgical cautery pads
- Nasal cannulas
- Participate in department in-service education and competency training.
Experience
- Active applicable certification/license (as required)
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI Tech experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AHA BLS Certification
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week

- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (Required)
