Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Ensure that all food is presented attractively and meets quality standards before serving.
- Help with food handling, including proper storage and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or catering services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential.
- Experience in hotel catering or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required.
