- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Clear and reset tables quickly to ensure a smooth flow of service and a clean dining environment
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down surfaces, organizing utensils, and managing trash removal
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or dietary needs
- Help prepare the dining area for upcoming service by setting up tables with linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently
- Experience with bussing or serving in banquet or hotel settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving chairs comfortably
- A background in culinary arts or hospitality can enhance your ability to support guest services effectively
