Duties & Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management:
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records, prepare journal entries and oversee month-end closing.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide insightful variance analysis and explanations for financial performance.
Compliance, Tax and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in coordinating external annual audits and income tax preparation by providing necessary documentation.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Streamline financial reporting processes to meet evolving business needs.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Required Qualifications:
- Four years’ experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Intermediate level understanding of current US GAAP accounting
- CPA certification preferred.
- 2-4 years public accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software strongly preferred.
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks assigned, while ensuring the accuracy of work and completion within designated deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Exhibit good decision-making skills and be a strong contributor to the accomplishment of goals and priorities
- Be open to change to improve processes, strengthen controls and gain efficiencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin with ability to read and speak in both languages; able to communicate effectively with regional teams and review accounting documents and contracts in Chinese

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting entries, compliance with regulations, and contributing data and analysis to financial decision-making. Must have a working knowledge of general ledger accounts, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements. Must have experience with annual external financial audit.
