What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Accountant position at M&M Printed Bag Inc?
The Senior GL Accountant will report to the Financial Accounting manager and work in the areas of US GAAP reporting and analysis encompassing Revenue Recognition, Billing, Balance Sheet reconciliations
· Own the Billing Process, AR, and Revenue related reporting
· Performs monthly bank reconciliations and promptly resolves any discrepancies.
· Financial Reporting: Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on financial performance and KPIs.
· Complete Balance Sheet and assigned reconciliations accurately and timely
· Compliance & Audits: Support PBC requests for Tax and FS reviews
· Support Month end process and local, state and federal tax compliance and reporting (including payroll, property and sales and use tax compliance and reporting)
· Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· Minimum of 3- 5 years GL experience
· General ledger and other accounting systems experience: Open Accounts and Radius or similar systems a plus
· Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
-Active CPA License -preferred but no necessary.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
