Pharmacy Technician – Union, NJ

Key Responsibilities
- Enter, process, and manage prescriptions using Micro Merchant Systems
- Process insurance claims, reversals, and rejections
- Troubleshoot third-party billing issues and resolve rejected claims
- Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations
- Support inventory management and medication ordering
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacists, prescribers, and insurance providers
- Help maintain an organized and efficient pharmacy workflow
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy technician experience required
- Experience with Micro Merchant Systems required
- Strong understanding of prescription processing and insurance billing
- Ability to troubleshoot insurance rejections independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- NJ Pharmacy Technician registration preferred
- Independent or community pharmacy experience preferred
Position Details
Location: Union, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, plus one additional day per week
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
