Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and process prescriptions
- Assist with insurance billing, rejections, and claim processing
- Support pharmacists with daily prescription workflow
- Handle prescription refills and communicate with prescribers
- Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Familiarity with prescription processing and pharmacy insurance billing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- New Jersey Pharmacy Technician registration preferred
