Procurement Specialist

Job Summary – Procurement Enterprise-Wide Specialist (IT)

Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing IT infrastructure and mission-critical technology equipment for hyperscale data center construction projects. Works closely with construction, IT, commissioning, and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery and integration of technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure IT and low-voltage systems including networking, structured cabling, fiber optics, server racks, security, CCTV, DCIM, BMS/EPMS, and communications systems.
• Manage OFCI technology equipment procurement and logistics.
• Support mission-critical infrastructure such as UPS monitoring, intelligent PDUs, environmental monitoring, and data hall connectivity.
• Coordinate with IT, network engineering, design, cybersecurity, and commissioning teams.
• Lead RFQs, vendor evaluations, negotiations, and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Track procurement changes, asset inventories, documentation, and deployment schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in procurement, IT infrastructure purchasing, data centers, or mission-critical environments.
• Hyperscale data center experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• Enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, structured cabling, fiber optics, low-voltage systems, and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with Cisco equipment, DCIM, BMS/EPMS, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and asset management.

Tools

Procore, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Autodesk Construction Cloud, ServiceNow, Excel, Power BI, Visio, and Primavera P6.

Preferred Certifications

CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA, CPSM, PMP, BICSI, or Lean Construction.
