Required Experience
- 7 years of IT support, service desk, desktop support, systems administration, IT operations, or infrastructure support experience.
- 3 years of experience managing, supervising, or leading IT support staff.
- Experience managing escalations for executives, managers, business partners, or business-critical users.
- Experience partnering with an MSP, vendor, or outside technology provider.
- Experience supporting a multi-site business environment.
- Experience creating or improving ticketing workflows, service expectations, documentation, escalation paths, or support metrics.
- Strong ability to communicate technical issues, business impact, timelines, and next steps to non-technical leaders.
- Strong judgment, ownership, organization, follow-up, and service leadership skills.
Required Technical Knowledge
- Microsoft 365 administration, licensing, account support, and end-user troubleshooting.
- Google Workspace administration and support.
- Okta, SSO, MFA, identity access, user provisioning, and authentication troubleshooting.
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, account permissions, and access control.
- Windows OS and Mac OS support in a mixed-device environment.
- Ticketing systems, endpoint support, remote support, asset tracking, and IT documentation.
- Hardware, peripherals, printers, laptops, desktops, mobile devices, conference room support, and business applications.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, medical device, dental, healthcare, life sciences, private equity-backed, or regulated environments.
- Experience managing service levels, support metrics, vendor performance, or recurring support reports.
- Experience with AppGate, Druva Backup, JAMF Pro, Apple Business Manager, Atera, Vonage Business, ITGlue, Zoho One, or similar systems.
- Experience with PowerShell, BASH, Python, or light automation.
- Experience improving IT support operations during growth, acquisition, system change, or multi-site expansion.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms to improve documentation, knowledge base content, troubleshooting, and workflow efficiency.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , Security , Microsoft, Google, Okta, ITIL, HDI, or related credentials.
