Join our team as a Maintenance Inventory Clerk, providing administrative and operational support to Maintenance, Operations, Purchasing, including inventory documentation, recordkeeping, reporting, and communication coordination.
A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming parts, tools and equipment and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
• Daily cycle includes notification to MRO Buyer when inventory is needed.
• Responsible for Parts Room and location of all parts.
• Responsible for verifying the accuracy of all incoming parties and promptly alerting the MRO Buyer of any issues or concerns.
• Mark and identify parts, tools and equipment, using identification tags, stamps, or electric marking tools.
• Inventory management of parts, tools and equipment.
• Identify cost savings initiatives.
• Delivers parts, tools, equipment or product to workers manually or using hand truck.
• Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear and report damage or wear to supervisor.
• Maintaining highest standards of housekeeping practices.
• Follow plant rules and comply with applicable regulatory standards.
• Responsible to meet all safety, food safety, quality, and customer requirements for this position.
• Sweeping, cleaning floor and work surfaces.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Must Know | Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with the daily operation of stockrooms
• Experience with computer managed inventory systems (MRP & ERP)
• Purchasing skills a plus
• Experience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel is a plus
• Computer proficient
