NetSuite Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading client implementation projects from kickoff through successful completion, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while delivering projects on time and within budget. This role oversees project tracking, communication, and coordination across internal teams and clients to support successful implementations and contribute to overall sales and operational goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and committed to maintaining industry knowledge and relevant certifications to support continued professional growth and project excellence.

Accountable For

Project Coordination & Management

• Manage NetSuite implementation projects from initiation through the transition to support
• Utilize project management software to track project progress, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with client expectations
• Assist clients in understanding implementation processes and expectations
• Assign tasks to appropriate internal and client resources
• Follow up proactively to ensure tasks are completed on time
• Identify project risks, bottlenecks, and delays and escalate when necessary
• Conduct regular project status meetings and coordinate communications between stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and status updates
• Ensure all project time is captured and posted correctly
• Deliver projects on time and within budget

Discovery & Requirements Gathering

• Conduct discovery sessions with clients
• Gather and document business requirements
• Document process flows and operational needs
• Identify setup, configuration, and customization requirements
• Identify gaps, concerns, and future-phase opportunities

Scoping & Project Planning

• Assist with project scoping and estimating implementation hours
• Develop project timelines and milestone schedules
• Determine internal and client resource requirements
• Support preparation of project quotes and statements of work
• Review SOW to ensure the project stays within the original scope
• Identify when project requirements are outside of the SOW scope
• Coordinate any required change orders with the client and the project team
• Create and maintain project plans within project management system

Go-Live & Transition Support

• Coordinate go-live readiness activities and related travel
• Ensure appropriate team availability during go-live and conversion activities
• Coordinate training and documentation delivery
• Track and manage open issues lists and secondary phase requirements & considerations
• Support transition to post-go-live support teams

Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Prioritize and track post-implementation issues and enhancements
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvement
• Recommend future project phases and optimization opportunities
• Obtain and communicate client feedback to internal teams
• Coordinate post-project review
• Run weekly project meeting

Qualifications

• NetSuite experience preferred
• 3 years of project management experience required
• Ability and willingness to travel within the USA (less than 15% expected)
• A bachelor’s degree (with a preference in business administration, accounting, information systems, or computer science)
• Knowledge and understanding of business procedures in at least one industry vertical (Manufacturing, Distribution, Professional Service, Software, eCommerce)
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Experience using project management software

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
