Our client is an established luxury custom home builder specializing in high-end renovations, additions, and custom residential projects throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding Main Line communities. They are seeking a Superintendent to oversee multiple residential remodeling projects while maintaining the company's commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential superintendent who enjoys working on unique projects rather than large production builds. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and takes pride in delivering a first-class experience for homeowners.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day field operations for multiple luxury residential remodeling and renovation projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and project schedules
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is performed correctly
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, providing project updates and addressing questions professionally
- Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor scheduling to keep projects moving efficiently
- Identify and resolve field issues while collaborating with project management
- Maintain daily project logs, progress photos, and documentation
- Verify workmanship meets company expectations before project completion
- Assist with punch-list completion and final homeowner walkthroughs
- 3 years of experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, or Field Supervisor within residential construction
- Experience overseeing custom home renovations, additions, or luxury residential projects strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing project schedules
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and construction-management software such as Buildertrend, Procore, or similar platforms
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- $75,000–$85,000 based on experience
