Construction Manager - Single & Multifamily

A growing construction organization in Northern California is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee residential projects in the Bay Area and South Bay. This role will manage both single family and multifamily construction projects from planning through completion.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects including single family and multifamily developments
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultants
• Ensure projects comply with local building codes and safety standards
• Conduct regular site visits and maintain strong field oversight
• Work closely with ownership and internal leadership on project progress
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Resolve construction issues and maintain project momentum

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience managing residential construction projects including single family AND multifamily developments
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience working with subcontractors and project teams throughout the construction lifecycle
• Familiarity with construction management software and project documentation

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary between $125,000 and $165,000 depending on experience
