About your role:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties, including providing daily and weekly production reports, assisting with all ITP documentation for final turnover to the client, providing document control and keeping trackers up to date, assisting the construction manager with project needs, checking in material, instruments, and equipment. Requisitions material as needed.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
- Handles take-offs for steel, concrete, piping, and welding.
- Creates Weld Tracker updates production daily, updates status report with production quantities for the week, creates daily field report and verifies quantities with all disciplines for reporting.
- Reviews all incoming mapped isometrics from shop and field containing correct x-ray numbers that mirror x-ray reader sheets.
- Ensures all stated heat trace numbers on map match MTRs in the database and submits back to the contractor to make revisions and return corrections.
- Creates and maintains ZAP master set of mapped piping isometric drawings (ISOs) on network, complies with inspection reports, and updates logs.
- Handles the filing of all project documentation and reviews testing procedures prior to testing.
- Assists with building packages and job books for final turnover and updates various reports and reviews for accuracy.
- Reviews RFIs generated in the field and submits to the home office team, then prints and distributes RFIs, field directives, and project drawings.
- Ensures current revisions of drawings are being used.
- Takes meeting minutes during construction and subcontractor meetings and distributes to team.
- Maintains the inventory of deliveries by regularly identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock.
- Conducts a visual inspection and hand check on delivery Equipment, Instruments, Specialty Items, Pipe, Value, Fittings (PVF), and all related project materials, as well as identifies and resolves shortages as damages.
- Completes and populates consumed materials to reflect on consumption tracker, in addition to preparing instruments and materials readily available to contractors.
- Acquire and document all Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificate of Compliance (COCs) and Installation, Operation and Maintenance manuals (IOMs).
- Scan and file documentations of all received items to project network and file-sharing sites.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some college coursework, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years’ experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education required.
