Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations efficiently to ensure accurate billing and cash handling.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality standards and food safety regulations are maintained at all times.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective sales techniques.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, buss tables, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver quick service without compromising quality.
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
