Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments via POS systems and giving correct change.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring sanitation standards are met in food handling and service areas.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and food safety knowledge.
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service that delights every guest.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols within the food industry or restaurant environment.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is highly desirable to support food prep or troubleshooting needs.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Basic math skills for cashiering duties including cash handling, math calculations for bills, tips, and change.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
