- Process cash and credit transactions using the cash register or POS system.
- Handle cash with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive guest experience.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
