Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision and integrity
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent guest relations abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is preferred
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required
