Technical Writer (CLEARED)

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Technical Writer (CLEARED) to join a DoD subcontractor supporting various government programs. This is a full-time position offering great remote flexibility, but needs someone relatively local to Alexandria, VA.

Essential Duties of the Technical Writer (CLEARED):

• Documenting the architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and testing results.
• Ensure content is clear, accurate and aligns with Navy documentation standards
• Translate technical inputs into concise, actionable deliverables for stakeholders
• Support delivery of design artifacts and system overviews
  
  

Qualifications of the Technical Writer (CLEARED):

• 5 years of Technical Writing experience
• Proven experience creating and editing user manuals, SOPs, system documentation, proposals or RFP responses and knowledge-based articles.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
  
  

Compensation for the Technical Writer (CLEARED):

• $65,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
• Great remote flexibility – only occasional onsite meetings when required by government customer
